Roots Millennium School and College founded with a vision to nurture excellence in education is a noble initiative of a distinguished group of retired educationists from universities, colleges, and army-run institutions — the academic leaders who had unprecedented contribution in shaping the young minds with knowledge, discipline, and values.

The institution is chaired by a highly accomplished education leader, a former Director of Education, Bangladesh Army and Director of Studies (twice) of Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA), who also pioneered in the establishment of a renowned army run school and college in the country and acted as the Governing Body Chairman of three different schools and colleges in Chattogram and in Dhaka, including Shaheed Lt Anwar Girls’ College. As Principal, he treasures the invaluable experience of serving in three different reputed schools and colleges in the country. Our chairman, a graduate in Chinese Language from China, strongly feels that students should take up a third language besides their academic endeavours in consonance with the demand of the global requirement. In fine, his long-earned vision and practical academic excellence coupled with ethical leadership serves as the foundation of Roots Millennium School & College.

The academic leadership is going to be monitored by the principal, a retired Professor of Government Titumir College, who brings with her the student-life experience of the renowned Holy Cross College and a wealth of experience and a lifelong dedication to teaching. Her career as a college educator and mentor stands as a testament to her commitment to nurturing students both academically and personally.

The Institution’s Governing and Management Committee is a unique blend of university professors, retired military professionals, and seasoned education experts with over 20-30 years of experience in school and college education. This diverse team, united by their shared passion for education, came together with a common dream — to create a learning institution where quality education meets innovation, discipline, and character development. The team is committed to keep the classroom size limited so that quality education in classroom environment is ensured, which is over the years a big challenge in our schools and colleges.
